FCA announces it is making improvements to the application process for authorisations

What are the key points of the announcement?
This form is used for Senior Management Functions and Controlled Functions applications and is one of the longest and most used forms.
The FCA has now begun gradually rolling out the new Form A. This is intended to support quicker assessments and determinations.
When this process is complete, the FCA intends to make changes to other application forms. As a result, it plans to reduce the overall number of forms requested and make the application process more efficient.
The improved forms will have clearer signposting to help firms understand which fields are mandatory.
