Thistle Initiatives Advises Northcote Equity on Strategic Investment in Lockhart Capital Management
Thistle Initiatives' M&A and Transaction Services team is pleased to have supported Northcote Equity with regulatory due diligence ahead of its strategic investment in Lockhart Capital Management.
Northcote Equity is a London-based private equity firm established in 2024 by Matthew Charman, Scott Fairlie and Charles Dale. The firm invests in lower mid-market technology and services businesses across the UK and Ireland, with its £160 million maiden fund providing up to £30 million of capital per transaction.
Thistle Initiatives worked closely with management and stakeholders throughout the transaction, providing regulatory due diligence to help identify and address key regulatory considerations ahead of the investment.
Harry Cotton, Head of M&A and Transaction Services at Thistle Initiatives, commented:
"We are pleased to have supported the Northcote team with regulatory due diligence in preparation for this deal. We look forward to continuing our work together and supporting the business through its next phase of growth following its investment in Lockhart Capital Management.
Congratulations to both teams on this significant milestone. This transaction marks an exciting new chapter, and we look forward to seeing the business build on its strong market position and continue to achieve sustained growth and success."
Matthew Charman, Co-Founder of Northcote Equity, commented:
