Thistle Initiatives appoints Katie Fox as Managing Director
Thistle Initiatives is pleased to announce the appointment of Katie Fox as Managing Director, Regulatory Consulting, further strengthening our senior leadership team and regulatory capability across the Thistle Group.
Katie is a senior transformation specialist with more than 15 years’ experience delivering complex regulatory change across the financial services sector. She brings deep expertise in regulatory interpretation and end‑to‑end implementation, supporting firms in embedding compliance into business-as-usual operations.

In her role at Thistle, Katie will oversee Thistle’s Investments, Credit, Mortgages and Insurance teams, working closely with clients navigating regulatory change, supervisory engagement and large‑scale transformation. Her focus will be on helping firms build regulatory‑aligned operating models that are robust, proportionate and workable in practice.
She holds an MSc in Strategic Management and a BA in Economics and Political Studies, alongside FCA regulatory qualifications and project management certifications.
Katie’s appointment sits alongside Jessica Cath, Managing Director for Financial Crime, Payment Services and Digital Assets, reflecting Thistle’s continued investment in senior leadership and specialist expertise across the regulatory landscape.
