Thistle Initiatives supports Centerbridge Partners on investment in Pure Cremation
Centerbridge Partners has agreed to take a structured minority stake in Pure Cremation, one of the UK’s leading providers of prepaid funeral plans and recently recognised as a national winner at the BVCA Vision Awards for its outstanding management team.
The deal, which includes both debt and equity investment, is expected to complete in the first half of 2026, subject to regulatory approval.
To support the deal, Centerbridge appointed Thistle Initiatives’ M&A Services team to deliver regulatory due diligence. Our role was to ensure that all FCA requirements were met and that the transaction progressed smoothly, drawing on our experience in complex, high-profile deals within the financial services and multiple other sectors.
