Thistle Initiatives supports Wren Sterling in the acquisition of City Financial
Leading national independent financial advice firm Wren Sterling has announced the successful acquisition of City Financial (Aberdeen) Ltd, a business based in Aberdeen, Ellon and Inverness.
To support the transaction, Wren Sterling appointed Thistle Initiatives’ Mergers and Acquisitions team to provide regulatory due diligence, drawing on the team’s extensive sector experience and technical expertise.
The acquisition doubles Wren Sterling’s presence in Scotland, bringing over 6,000 clients and £700 million in assets under management. The firm’s total AUM now exceeds £11 billion.
